Lewis Hamilton has spoken publicly about his relationship with Kim Kardashian for the first time, though the Ferrari driver refused to divulge any details during Formula 1 pre-season testing in Bahrain.
The 41-year-old seven-time world champion was questioned about whether he had enjoyed his companion’s presence more than the Super Bowl itself, where the pair were spotted together in California last weekend.
Hamilton firmly declined to elaborate on the matter.
“I’m not commenting on that. That’s private,” he stated.
The couple have reportedly been seen together on multiple occasions recently, including a romantic getaway in the UK and an outing in Paris, following reports that they had started dating earlier this month.
Sky Sports reporter Ted Kravitz provided insight into the exchange that took place during the written press conference.
“I can tell you he was asked that in the written press,” said Kravitz.
“He was asked: ‘Did you enjoy your company more than the game at the Super Bowl?’.

“And he said: ‘It’s my private life. I’m not talking about that’. So, that’s me told.”
The 51-year-old broadcaster admitted he had considered posing his own question to the Ferrari star about whether Kardashian might become a Tifosi, the term for devoted Ferrari supporters.
“Quite right. He was never going to give me an answer, though, was he?” Kravitz conceded.
Away from the spotlight on his personal life, Hamilton was putting in the laps at the Bahrain International Circuit as pre-season testing commenced in earnest.

The veteran racer recorded the fourth quickest time among the 11 drivers who participated in Wednesday’s opening session.
Max Verstappen topped the timesheets, with Oscar Piastri slotting into second position and George Russell completing the top three ahead of his former Mercedes teammate.
Hamilton’s performance provided an early indication of where Ferrari might stand in the competitive order, though the true picture remains unclear given the variables involved in testing conditions.
The 2026 campaign is scheduled to begin on 8 March with the season-opening race in Melbourne.
When asked about his prospects of challenging for the championship this season, Hamilton expressed uncertainty whilst raising concerns about potential disparities in the field.
“Impossible to know at the moment. I hope we’re in the mix,” he said.

“I think, apart from Mercedes, we all look like we’re quite close, but we don’t know what fuel loads people are on.”
The Ferrari driver went further, suggesting his former team may possess technical advantages over their rivals.
“There’s whispers of certain fuel loads that Mercedes are on, there’s whispers of extra power that they have that the rest of us don’t the compression ratio sort of thing,” Hamilton added.
He called for the governing body to intervene, stating he hoped the FIA would ensure all teams begin the season on equal terms.
