Justin Baldoni returns to court after ‘unsuccessful’ settlement talk w/ Blake Lively as trial looms

Justin Baldoni is back in court. The actor arrived at New York City’s U.S. District Court in Manhattan for the second day in a row with his wife Emily Baldoni. The “Jane the Virgin” alum is in court regarding his case against Jonesworks PR boss Stephanie Jones, whom he sued in March 2025. Blake Lively, notably, was not present, as she had been the day prior. Justin’s arrival comes one day after his court-ordered settlement conference with Blake Lively. According to Deadline, Baldoni’s attorney Bryan Freedman — who is representing the “It Ends With Us” director in Lively’s sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit against him — said attempts to reach a pretrial deal with Blake were “unsuccessful.”
