Lauren Sánchez took a moment for a bit of nostalgia while marking her son Nikko Gonzalez’s 25th birthday. Sánchez shared a sweet throwback photo on her Instagram Stories on February 12 that featured Nikko as a young boy grinning as Sánchez held him on her back. “Can’t believe you are 25 today,” she wrote over the image. “I will always see you like this. Love you Nikko. Happy birthday.”

Last year, Sánchez shared another touching tribute to her son: “You’ve always moved to your own rhythm, adventurous, yet always so calm in the middle of a storm, and so hardworking. Your steady grace continues to amaze me,” she wrote, per People. “Another trip around the sun, and still, you teach me something new every day. I love you SO SO much.”
Sánchez shares Nikko with her ex-boyfriend Tony Gonzalez. At the time of Nikko’s birth in 2001, Tony played for the Kansas City Chiefs. They split shortly after Nikko’s arrival. Sánchez also shares son Evan Whitesell, born in 2006, and daughter Ella Whitesell, born in 2008, with ex-husband Patrick Whitesell. The pair split in 2019.

Sánchez married Jeff Bezos in an extravagant wedding in Venice last August. Since then, she has made a number of fashion-forward appearances: in December, she was spotted in an archival coat and no pants while out on a date night with Bezos. In January, she rocked a fur-lined coat with a lace bra while attending the Dior show during Paris Haute Couture Week. Earlier this month, she opted for a vintage navy slipdress with hidden metal detailing.
