Lorna Luxe has shared the final gift her husband John made days before he died. On Thursday night, the influencer announced that John had sadly died at the age of 64, having battled stage four adrenal cancer.

Just days after John died, Lorna revealed that she was sorting through her mail and stumbled across a delivery for John ahead of Valentine’s Day tomorrow. The package, which was addressed to John, gave Lorna a “chuckle”.

Inside the package was a trio of cards from her late husband, which he had prepared in the days leading up to his death. One card saw a cartoon man sitting on the toilet, alongside the caption: “Happy Valentine’s. This was me picking this card.”

Another saw John’s face morphed onto Cupid’s body, with the caption: “Be mine, Valentine.” Meanwhile, in a third, Lorna had been morphed onto the Mona Lisa with the caption: “You’re a work of art.”

Sharing her thoughts alongside the cards, Lorna wrote: “I’ve been opening mail and this big envelope addressed to John arrived a couple of weeks ago, so I opened it. Legendary behaviour here John, it was the chuckle I needed.”

As well as the cards, Lorna also shared a previously unseen video clip of the couple, with John kissing her head. He said: “I love you so much, and you are the best thing in the world for me.” On Thursday, Lorna said in a heartbreaking statement: “My beautiful, brave John died yesterday. I am heartbroken. We were together to the very end, at home, in our own bed and holding hands which is exactly what he wanted.

“The last conversation we had I asked him how he was feeling and he replied ‘rough but in love’ and that was so him, to the point and choosing to put aside his fears to make me feel cherished and loved.

“John and I were so grateful to the district nurses who came daily to support us and make him comfortable. Anna was his favourite nurse and the kindness she showed him was beyond, she was a real life angel.

“We couldn’t have had those last few days together at home without that care and my mum who has been with us keeping me strong when I needed to stay strong for John. John you are a class act and I will love you forever.”

Lorna had previously revealed that treatment was no longer an option after the stage four adrenal cancer, which John had been diagnosed with in April 2023, had spread. After undergoing treatment, the former banker entered remission – but the cancer returned in 2024 and had spread to the brain.

John went on to undergo surgery and “defied the odds” – with the couple declaring they were holding on to hope as he continued to battle the disease. But on February 7, Lorna said she did not know how much time she had left with her husband. She had been keeping fans updated on her family life following the tragic news.

She told fans she had to cancel attending an event as she was required to be by John’s side at all times as his condition deteriorated.
