Eagle-eyed viewers of the new Hollywood blockbuster “Wuthering Heights” might spot a familiar location if heading to the cinema this Valentine’s weekend.
Scenes of the romantic psychological drama, which stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, were filmed at Knole Park in Sevenoaks last March.

Inspired by Emily Brontë’s classic novel of the same name, the film follows the passionate and destructive love story between Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw.
The star-studded cast also includes The Menu’s Hong Chau as Nelly Dean, Rogue Agent’s Shazad Latif as Edgar Linton, Conversations with Friends ‘ Alison Oliver as Isabella Linton, and Martin Clunes as Mr Earnshaw.
It also stars youngster Owen Cooper as a young Heathcliff, who is known for his award-winning debut role in Netflix’s Adolescence, which saw him pick up both an Emmy and a Golden Globe for the role.
The film opens with a scene filmed in the courtyard of Knole Park, and returns to the medieval deer park later to act as a Gretna Green for Heathcliff and Isabella’s elopement.
The 600-year-old estate is managed by the National Trust, and other productions filmed there include The Favourite and Pirates of the Caribbean – On Stranger Tides.

Film crews were in Kent last year from March 12 to March 21, with only one day of filming on March 17.
The other dates were used to prepare the location and then dismantle the set afterwards.
Adapted and directed by Emerald Fennell, known for the likes of Killing Eve and Saltburn, Wuthering Heights has already faced controversy over its casting choices and departure from the original book.
The film title has also been stylised with quote marks to highlight that this is Fennell’s own interpretation of the classic novel.
It was released in UK cinemas today (February 14).
