Apparently, Bad Bunny’s halftime show at Super Bowl LX didn’t sit well with Jennifer Lopez.
Bad Bunny put together quite the performance last Sunday night in Santa Clara, California. His halftime show averaged 128.2 million viewers on NBC, according to Nielsen’s Big Data + Panel rating system. Although he didn’t set a new record for TV ratings, he now owns the most-watched Super Bowl halftime show on YouTube in a 24-hour span.
Additionally, the “Titi Me Pregunto” singer made history for Telemundo, which televised the Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks.
“Telemundo averaged 3.3 million viewers, marking the most-watched Super Bowl in U.S. Spanish-language history,” Alex Sherman of CNBC said. “Telemundo’s audience peaked during the halftime show, with an average of 4.8 million viewers – the most-watched Super Bowl halftime in Spanish-language history.”
So why was Lopez mad about Bad Bunny’s halftime show? According to NewsNation, she wanted to be included in it.
“Jennifer Lopez, who shared the Super Bowl stage with Bad Bunny and Shakira at the 2020 game, was ‘shook’ and ‘furious’ she wasn’t at the big game,” the report from NewsNation states.

While it’s totally possible that Lopez felt some type of way about being snubbed from Bad Bunny’s halftime show, she has shown nothing but support for him in public.
Before Super Bowl LX kicked off at Levi’s Stadium, the “Waiting for Tonight” singer posted a heartfelt message on social media.
“Sending you all the love, positivity and the biggest hug in the world,” Lopez wrote on Instagram. “We are all behind you tonight. I know that you are going to kill it! I am here with you the way you were there with me.”
If Lopez was truly mad at Bad Bunny, why would she go out of her way to wish him well? I guess we’ll never know.
