I’m a Canadian and am very used to seeing “Rex/Regina v [name]” on court documents. I thought earlier today that the indictment from the UK is going to be incredibly interesting.
I cannot imagine they would arrest Andrew without intent to charge him for a number of reasons.
When he is charged the indictment will likely read like the examples above.
“The King vs Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor”.
Justice is carried out in the name of the monarch, although 99.99999% of the time the monarch has no idea about any of the cases carried out in their name.
This is going to be visually so messy.
