Katie Surbeck is a professional psychic who goes by @katiesurbeck on TikTok, where she does many celebrity readings. One of the most interesting ones that I think she’s done is for Princess Diana, who needs no introduction and whose death rattled the world.
Princess Diana passed away tragically in a car accident on August 31st, 1997. Her death was due to the injuries she sustained in the wreck, and although what happened was ruled an accident, many theories have popped up over the years that perhaps there was more to it than that.
Katie put up a picture of Princess Diana to accompany her reading, as she believes that Princess Diana was as exceptional and amazing as everyone thought.
When Katie sees photos like this, she says Princess Diana’s light and warmth really shine through. That being said, Katie has picked up on pieces of darkness and depression in her aura as well, so not everything was bright and positive.
“Just like these strange cuts and streaks of it have been shown that her passing was planned and the plan went awry. I’ve been shown there are actually multiple different plans, and even the planners were, you know, a little shocked by the way that the events played out and the gruesomeness of them if you can even believe that,” Katie explained in her video.
“The royal family definitely has this dark, sinister energy [woven] throughout it. It feels a bit like a curse. I don’t think one singular person cursed the royal family’s bloodline or anything, but they definitely have a very similar [energy] to a curse.”
“I also think that Harry and Meghan leaving the royal family was actually probably the best thing they could have done for themselves.”
Katie said she was not alive when Princess Diana passed, but the weight of her death is something she still thinks is tangible, and she has a heaviness in her chest when she thinks about it, which is unusual in a psychic reading.
Princess Diana did so much good in her 36 years on this earth, and Katie strongly feels that if she had lived longer and been allowed to stay, she would have done some incredible things for the world.

“I was 6-7 when she passed, and I was devastated because I saw her do all those amazing things that no other royal or celeb was even doing at the time, and I thought she embodied what it meant to be a real princess in spirit and heart,” one person commented on Katie’s video.
“It was spiritually devastating. We have few people walking around with that kind of soul where you feel it. You could only imagine watching her on tv as a kid,” someone else said.
“I was in high school. It was completely devastating. The biggest feeling was that she was ours, not theirs, and underneath the grief was a foundation of rage. Nobody did anything but watch the news coverage for a couple of weeks,” a third person added.
