In WOLVERINE: WEAPONS OF ARMAGEDDON #1 by Chip Zdarsky and Luca Maresca, Logan and Teri, a shadowy associate from the X-Man’s past, are on the trail of a missing mutant. Their search leads them to Primewarrior, a corporation invested in creating the next generation of super-soldiers, no matter the cost. Their latest victim? A young mutant named Tyler with regenerative abilities not dissimilar to Wolverine’s. But as our heroes track the missing mutant subject through the icy wilderness, Tyler’s scent goes cold at a seemingly vacant cabin in the woods. That is, until David Colton sneaks up on Wolverine and Teri, gun cocked.
