The Block’s Dan and Dani Reilly expecting their second child: ‘Billie’s sibling coming 2026’
Trigger warning: Pregnancy and infant loss
Dan and Dani Reilly, who rose to fame on The Block in 2013, have announced they are expecting their second child.
“As sure as the sun rises and sets each day, she is with us for this next chapter… 🟢Billie’s sibling coming 2026 ☀️,” they wrote on Instagram.
“To those navigating pregnancy and infant loss, IVF, and fertility challenges — we see you.”
Their heartwarming news comes after the devastating loss of their daughter, Billie Vera Reilly, who tragically passed away in December 2024 at just 10 days old.
In honour of Billie’s memory, Dan and Dani founded Billie’s Besties, a charity initiative created to support families and children in need. Through the fund, they’ve turned their grief into purpose, hoping to continue the love and kindness Billie brought into their world.
On their official fundraising page, the couple shared Billie’s story, the impact she had on everyone who knew her, and their mission to help other families facing unimaginable challenges.
As of November 2025, Billie’s Besties has raised more than $165,000 to support the Women’s Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the families who depend on its care.
Dan and Dani were married in 2018 after nine years together, celebrating their wedding on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.
If you or someone you know has been affected by pregnancy or infant loss, support is available 24/7 through the Red Nose Grief and Loss Support Line on 1300 308 307.
