Selena Gomez is not letting the criticism get to her. After her husband, Benny Blanco, became the target of online criticism due to his appearance and behavior in his podcast debut, Gomez shared a post that reaffirms her commitment to her partner.

In her Instagram stories, Gomez shared a video of herself and Blanco sharing a sweet kiss. “I fall more and more in love with you every day my love,” she wrote over the clip.
Her comments follow the heavy online criticism that Blanco received after debuting the first episode of his new podcast, “Friends Keep Secrets,” which featured two of his best friends and now co-hosts: Lil Dicky and Kristin Batalucco.
A part of the clip went viral, focusing on Blanco’s dirty feet and the fact that he had them over Lil Dicky’s couch, where the podcast was recorded. “Good podcast, wash your feet benny and wash the floors,” wrote someone.

Later in the episode, Blanco farted on purpose, addressing the sound crew and saying, “Wait, see if you guys could pick this up.”
Viewers, as usual, brought Gomez into the equation. “LITERALLY WHY would she marry him out of all the men in the world,” someone wrote on X.
“That is disgusting idk how selena dealing with this,” wrote a second person.

Why Benny Blanco decided to enter the podcast space
Blanco has launched the podcast alongside his two best friends, with them releasing new conversations with all sorts of celebrities, including Ed Sheeran, Paul Rudd, and Gwyneth Paltrow.
The setup of their project makes it more complex than the average podcast, with them rigging cameras and audio footage throughout different rooms in Lil Dicky’s house, allowing conversations to flow from room to room and for people to do more than talk into the microphone through their scheduled time.
“It’s not that it’s not a podcast,” said Batalucco, Lil Dicky’s wife and co-host, “it’s that it’s a podcast and more.”
“We have such an eclectic group of friends, so sometimes the person that we’re talking to is going to be my mother and sometimes it’s going to be Selena Gomez,” teased Blanco of the upcoming batch of episodes. “Or we might be talking to a guy that’s at the forefront of A.I. and then talking to a man who created the fart machine.”
