Lisa Armstrong has jetted to LA to get over her Hurley heartache – as pals opened up about how she has finally “cut the last ties” to ex husband Ant McPartlin. The 49-year-old has flown to be with Craig Young, who she used to be in the band Deuce with, and his partner.
It comes as pals say she is “beyond heartbroken” at the death of her chocolate labrador, who has died aged 12. Friends say the death of Hurley – who was at the centre of a custody battle during their 2018 divorce – brings an end to any contact with former husband Ant. In recent years, either Lisa or her mother used to meet up to exchange the dog as they shared custody.. A source said: “Contrary to reports the pair never saw each other, they used to meet up to hand over Hurley and naturally it could be strained, although they tried to keep things civil. With Hurley’s death, the last ties of marriage has been cut.”
Lisa is expected to be in the States for a few weeks. Ant, 50, has similarly flown abroad. He had previously joined Lisa at the vets having rushed there from the launch of Britain’s Got Talent. Lisa’s US trip comes after she also split from her toyboy actor boyfriend.

The Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist and Grant Kilburn, 34, called time on their relationship last month. A source said: “It’s very sad but it wasn’t to be.” Reports only last month described Lisa as “happier than ever” with Grant, who had been on tour in the play 2:22 A Ghost Story.
But friends said they quietly split soon after. Lisa divorced Ant in January 2018, two months before he crashed into two other cars while more than twice the drink-drive limit.
He later admitted drink- Ant & driving and was fined £86,000 and given a 20-month ban. He went into rehab after the crash and took a 10-month break from TV presenting. The presenter, 50, went on to marry former assistant Anne-Marie Corbett, 46, in 2021 and the pair welcomed their first child together last year, son Wilder Patrick McPartlin. in 2023
Lisa has built up an impressive property portfolio after her divorce.
Said to have got a £31million settlement from Ant, she bought a house near Oxford for more than £700,000 in 2024. She already has their former home, a £2.3m West London mansion, which she kept as part of the divorce deal. Lisa then bought a £3.8m house in West London in 2020.
