EXCLUSIVE: Actor and social media content creator Adam Rose has joined the cast of three movies: Searchlight’s Tony Gilroy-directed Behemoth, Amazon MGM Studios’ Cole Sprouse and Kiernan Shipka rom-com Goodbye Girl, and Sumerian Pictures’ Rob Lowe and Keith David dark comedy My New Friend Jim.

Behemoth! which Gilroy directs and wrote, follows a musician from a family of musicians who returns to Los Angeles. The project is billed as a love letter to the music of the movies and the people who make it. Pedro Pascal, Will Arnett, Olivia Wilde and Matthew Lillard star.

Goodbye Girl reps director Oran Zegman‘s follow-up to Honor Society, the Paramount+ coming-of-age comedy starring Angourie Rice and Gaten Matarazzo Goodbye Girl follows Jess (Shipka), who’s a professional heartbreaker. Literally. When she’s hired by a cowardly bride to dump her groom (Sprouse) days before their wedding, she not only fumbles the job… but falls hopelessly in love. The project is financed and produced by Gulfstream Pictures. The script was written by Danielle Hoover and David Monahan, based on a story by Hoover, Monahan, and Jessica Elbaum.

My New Friend Jim is being directed by Ash Avildsen and follows two fathers from vastly different worlds who form an unlikely bond while searching for a runaway daughter in Reno.

Rose has starred in over 30 TV shows and such Oscar nominated movies like Up in the Air and The Squid and the Whale. The actor recently starred in My Weird School for Paramount and Nickelodeon which aired in December. He counts over 30 million followers across all social media platforms. Rose is in pre-production on his feature directorial debut 15 Minutes which he is starring in and also wrote.
