The BNP Paribas Open kicked off on Saturday, February 28, 2026 with a 5K Fun Run. Fans can expect exciting tennis and Hollywood’s biggest stars at the tournament.
As BNP told HELLO!: “[BNP Paribas Open is] the signature Tennis Paradise experience attracts the brightest stars both on and off the court.”
Before the U.S. Open in August, the BNP is the largest, premiere American tennis tournament of the year and takes place in Indian Wells, California and has opened its doors to celebrities like Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya and Tom Holland, Charlize Theron, Mike Tyson, P!nk, Will Ferrell, and more.

While we don’t know who will be in attendance just yet, we can expect notable names, special activities, and of course, great tennis. Here’s how to experience the BNP like your favorite celebrity.
Watch a match from Stadium 1
The Indian Wells Tennis Garden’s main showcourt is the most popular place to catch a celebrity taking in the on-court action. Kylie and Timothée shared a kiss while watching tennis. Zendaya and Tom sang along to Whitney Houston.

And comedian Ben Stiller shared a moment with Aussie player Nick Kyrgios when he snapped at a heckler in the front row, then pointed at the actor and asked: “Do I tell him how to act? No!”
Located within Stadium 1 is the invite-only Champions club. It’s a site that welcomes some notable names, where tennis fans such as Bill Gates have been found catching the action.
By snagging a seat in Stadium 1, you will surely see good tennis and might get to take home a celebrity story too.
Dine at the Circle of Palms
Watching tennis works up an appetite. Located in the center of the grounds, the newly renovated Circle of Palms could be another site to see some celebrities enjoying some champagne or charcuterie.
At this year’s tournament, fans can expect selections from Nobu, Ristorante Mamma Gina, and Molé Ingenious Mexican Kitchen, as well as from more than 40 acclaimed vendors.

Over the tournament’s two weeks, fans are welcome to experience a slew of activations. This year’s lineup includes new partners appearing at the event for the first time, including lululemon, FAGE, and Silversea.
Further, fans are encouraged to visit the Sponsor Village for a variety of partner displays, activations, player appearances, and autograph sessions to be held throughout the event.
