Sky News contributor Adrian Hayes slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle over the couple’s two-day quasi-royal trip to Jordan.

The couple travelled 7,500 miles to Amman at the invitation of the WHO to highlight humanitarian efforts supporting refugees.

Asked why he thought they had gone there, Mr Hayes didn’t hold back: “I think anything to do with the Sussexes is you’ve got to look at as PR and publicity.

“It’s a very fame-obsessed woman and her husband in tow…It’s very strange… Why are they there? Bit divisive again…[But] there’s a PR battle going on between the Sussexes and the Prince and Princess of Wales, [which] sort of stems from the Sussexes. But I think everything’s got to be taken with a pinch of salt, [what] Harry and Meghan do.”
