The newly rechristened Actor Awards – formerly the SAG Awards – were bestowed Sunday upon Hollywood’s elite at L.A. Shrine Auditorium. The last of the major Oscar precursors brought a few surprises to a previously unsurprising season.

The cast of “Sinners” took home the prize for ensemble in a motion picture, and Michael B. Jordan captured the statue for lead actor for his duel role in in the film, snapping “One Battle After Another’s” award season winning streak.

In TV, “The Studio” continued its dominance among comedies, winning for ensemble, performance by a male actor, Seth Rogen, and performance by a female actor, the late Catherine O’Hara.

“The Pitt” won for ensemble performance in a television drama, while its star, Nola Wyle, received the Actor Award for a lead actor.
