Are Zendaya and Tom Holland married?
According to Roach, Zendaya and Holland have said “I do.” When Access Hollywood asked for an update on Zendaya and Holland’s wedding plans on the Actor Awards red carpet on March 1, Roach responded, “The wedding’s already happened. You missed it.” The shocked reporter followed up with, “Is that true?” Roach replied with a smile, “It’s very true.”
Zendaya and Holland, who are notoriously private about their relationship, have not confirmed they’re married. They have barely addressed their engagement publicly.
The couple has been out of the public eye for several months as they filmed the next Spider-Man movie, but Zendaya does have her press tour for The Drama, out April 3, coming up. She could confirm or deny the wedding news then!
Roach previously stressed that the couple would keep their wedding out of the spotlight. “She and Tom are super private about their relationship,” he told Complex. “They’re trying to be as private as possible. There won’t be a Vogue spread or there won’t be pictures of the wedding, and the people who she will invite will be really respectful of their privacy, so it will be a really beautiful dress that no one gets to see.”
When did Zendaya and Tom Holland get engaged?
It’s unclear exactly when Holland popped the question to his love, but Zendaya showed up to the 2025 Golden Globes in January 2025 wearing a massive Georgian-style ring on her ring finger. Holland’s father, Dominic Holland, later confirmed the engagement news.
“Tom, as you know by now, was very incredibly well prepared,” the proud dad wrote in a Patreon post. “He had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter. Tom had everything planned out… When, where, how, what to say, what to wear.”
The Crowded Room star briefly addressed his engagement in September 2025. When a reporter called Zendaya his “girlfriend,” Holland corrected him with a one-word response: “Fiancée.”
When did Zendaya and Tom Holland start dating?
The couple met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016. They were friends for years before their relationship turned romantic. Their relationship was confirmed in 2021 when they were photographed kissing in a car.
“Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of, and we want to keep as sacred as possible,” Holland told The Hollywood Reporter in 2023. “We don’t think that we owe it to anyone; it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.”
