Teyana Taylor had the cutest little date for the 2026 Actor Awards.
Taylor, 35, who was nominated in the best supporting actress category for “One Battle After Another,” stepped onto the red carpet at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium with her daughter Rue Rose Shumpert. Taylor shares Rue, 5, and Junie, 10, with ex-husband, Iman Shumpert.
As Taylor posed on the carpet for the cameras, Rue made sure Mommy looked her best by fixing the train on her dress. Later, she joined her mother in delivering some adorable poses and sass on the red carpet and the two even exchanged hugs and kisses.
Speaking to USA TODAY previously, Taylor had shared her daughters were her “co-stylists.”
“With the big awards shows, I design directly with the designer,” Taylor said. “And then I turn to my babies like, ‘What y’all think about this? Do I do the one with the party in the back or the party in the front?'”
She added kids even offer their own chic suggestions, “like, ‘Ooh, Mommy, what’s this?'”
“They’re about to be fashionistas. They definitely have final approval on how I walk out that door,” Taylor added.

Taylor, meanwhile, brought bold style to the red carpet in a trompe l’oeil dress. The strapless silver and gray gown had a mini-train and featured a corset of sorts with faux nipples − similar to, but not as explicit as Chappell Roan’s Internet-breaking Grammys look.
Taylor accessorized her look with a chunky diamond necklace from Tiffany & Co., a smoky eye and a nude lip.
Rue wore a light blue and white striped cardigan with a ruffled hem paired with a print skirt and black boots.
