I’m A Celeb star Coleen Rooney’s pals have allegedly called her footie pundit husband Wayne an ‘idiot’ after he was spotted with two unnamed women at a pre-BRITS party in Manchester at the weekend.
The mother-of-four, 39, was seen looking glum as she ran errands in Cheshire on Monday – but her wedding ring was nowhere to be seen. Wayne, meanwhile, seems to have landed himself in hot water. He was reportedly spotted looking ‘worse for wear’ and chatting and drinking to the two women into the early hours.

It couldn’t be worse timing for WAG Coleen, as it threatened to overshadow a huge career moment. She is poised to launch her very first clothing range with Primark and is said to be hosting an event in Mayfair on Thursday to celebrate the collection.
One source close to her is claimed to have said: “Coleen has worked so hard on this Primark range, it’s massive for her. So for Wayne to act like such an idiot just days before her big moment is irritating. Coleen will always stick by Wayne. But for her mates, it’s upsetting to see Wayne acting this way because it takes the spotlight from her.”

In photos obtained by The Sun, Wayne – a pundit for Match of the Day and former England star – could be seen drinking with the women, before leaving the venue with one – then both got into separate cars at around 3.25am.
It can’t have been easy for Coleen to see the next day. And it’s not the first time Coleen has had to deal with the fallout when it comes to her husband.

She has faced several high-profile alleged cheating scandals. Coleen stood by her man but did not publicly comment. Speaking as part of a 2023 Amazon Prime documentary on her husband’s life and career, Coleen also spoke candidly her husband’s cheating.
She admitted that one reason she chose to stay in her marriage during Wayne’s various scandals was for the sake of their children.
Coleen admitted, “When you’re making those decisions you’ve got to focus on what you want and not other people because you have so many people saying different things to you. ‘Oh why is she getting back with him?

“Obviously I listen to the people that matter to me, my mum and dad always give me a positive outlook on things. There’s nothing that we can’t deal with and that’s my way in a situation – let’s sit down and see what we can do and can we make it work?
“And we have. We’re not the lovey-dovey type anyway, we like to have a laugh and we work well together.”
Last year, Wayne maintained that if it wasn’t for his wife – who had ‘saved’ him from alcohol and helped him cut down on the booze – he would ‘be dead’.
