In a major 180, the iconic supermodel announced she’s Garnier’s new global ambassador on Tuesday by ditching her signature bombshell curls for a sleek hair transformation that looks straight out of the early 2000s.
In photos shared by the beauty brand on March 3, Bündchen had fans doing a double take as she posed on a beach with a pin-straight hairstyle featuring a deep side part and face-framing layers—a tried-and-true style that was once a Y2K It girl beauty staple (and a look oftentimes worn by the runway icon herself in the ‘90s and 2000s). The star’s stunning frizz-free, flat-ironed hair, which was achieved with the help of the brand’s Fructis Sleek & Shine product, made her blonde highlights pop even more than usual, creating bright money pieces around her face.

Sitting in the sand with the bright blue water behind her, Bündchen embraced seasonal dressing with a chunky charcoal gray knit sweater, which she styled off one shoulder. The 45-year-old star ditched her pants for the photoshoot, instead wearing just a pair of black underwear. A swipe of black eyeliner and matte rose-colored lipstick finished off her look.

Styling her golden-highlighted bronde hair in middle-parted waves, the mom-of-three looked like she was lounging in her backyard as she paired a plunging white bra featuring barely-there spaghetti straps with a polarizing denim style: High-waisted cropped capris, which showed off several inches of toned midriff and cut off mid-calf, leaving her feet bare.
