Eight celebrities are getting the green light to join Netflix’s popular competition show, “Squid Game.”

Season three, which is being called “Squid Game: The VIP Challenge,” will feature familiar faces among the 456 cast members. Dylan Efron, known for winning “The Traitors” season three, Hannah Godwin from “The Bachelor,” Kim Zolciak from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Spice Girls singer Mel B, NBA champion Tristan Thompson, and Ryan Serhant from Netflix’s “Owning Manhattan” are all set to appear, as is influencer Kristy Sarah and “Squid Game: The Challenge” fan vote winner Viper.

Viper, who will be the show’s first-ever returning player, was eliminated in episode two on his original season during a game of catch. “I did learn that every single decision should be considered in great detail,” he told Tudum. “I will surely use a microscope with every choice I make.” He also said he plans to cause “total chaos” in season three.
The reality show, inspired by Netflix’s multi-Emmy-winning drama series, follows hundreds of contestants as they attempt to win the $4.56 million grand prize. The challenges vary wildly, from building a house of cards to trying to convince a fellow player to pick up a phone to a physical game of red light, green light, and everything in between.

Beyond the eight celebrity cast members, Netflix hasn’t released any information about “Squid Game: The VIP Challenge,” although fans can expect to see similar challenges and a lot of drama as players fight for one of the largest prizes in reality TV history.
