Here is a look at the notable celebrities who also attended Le Grand Dîner du Louvre last night in Paris, where the setting alone demanded fashion with presence. While some guests delivered the kind of artistic expression the evening deserved, others leaned into familiar territory.

Ethereal Couture
Eileen Gu blew me away wearing an Iris van Herpen Fall 2025 Haute Couture gown. I have not seen the dress in motion yet, but you can easily imagine how it would move in a fluid, atmospheric way, almost as if drifting underwater. That sense of otherworldly lightness is what Iris van Herpen does so well, creating pieces that feel less like garments and more like living forms. It was one of the most visually striking moments of the evening.

Artistry Woven From Makeup Brushes
Ester Expósito wore a Marine Serre halter dress featuring exceptional embroidery composed of 850 makeup brushes. This is exactly the kind of artistic expression I was hoping to see more of at this event. The craftsmanship alone is staggering, and the hours required to create something so detailed deserve recognition.

Shiny Glamour With Movie Star Attitude
Judging by the Gucci Fall 2026 front row, and Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu who wore a black one shoulder Gucci Generation gown, Gucci shades are now apparently part of the red carpet formula. It’s giving a hint of Isabelle Huppert energy, but you can also tell Philippine is enjoying every second of this moment. The attitude sells the look just as much as the dress itself.

Effortless Elegance
Stacy Martin and understated elegance in Louis Vuitton continue to go hand-in-hand. Her gown delivers the kind of refined simplicity she wears so well, allowing the silhouette to speak for itself. Louis Vuitton High Jewelry, including the Perception bracelet, completed her look.

Déjà Dress
Natasha Poly was one of my favourites from last year’s event, but I was far less excited about this Jacquemus Spring 2026 sheer dress. Not because it is sheer, but because we have already seen it before on Lalisa ‘Lisa’ Manobal at the Golden Globe Awards, where it felt far more intriguing in black.

Iris van Herpen The Third
Barbara Palvin joined Diane Kruger and Eileen Gu in wearing Iris van Herpen Haute Couture. Her white Fall 2025 gown might not be as architecturally fluid as some of the other designs, but the sculpted silhouette and weightless layers that dissolve into rippling translucency at the hem is just as impressive. Yvonne Léon jewels completed her look.

Another Chanel Reappearance
I do not think we have seen quite so many Chanel repeats as we have lately, as Anamaria Vartolomei wore the same Chanel Pre-Fall 2026 look previously seen on Nicole Kidman.

Spotlight Stealing
Adot Gak delivered one of the most striking silhouettes of the evening in Rahul Mishra Fall 2025 Couture. The sculpted bodice, sheer dotted panels and off shoulder neckline created a dramatic finish that felt perfectly suited to the grandeur of the Louvre along with that stunning statement choker. I love how she made this look her own. I’m going to DM her after this to find out what moisturizer she is using.

Saint Laurent, Naturally
Vassili Schneider delivered a classic Saint Laurent menswear moment that felt relaxed yet well put together, pulling the leather jacket from the Fall 2025 collection while nodding to the Spring 2026 collection by tucking his tie into the placket.
