I, Robot is a 2004 Will Smith movie about a topic more relevant than ever: AI and Asimov’s three laws of robotics. But although it deals with such cool and timely elements, it does not work on their level. It’s meh at best. Why? Because it fails at the three laws of screenwriting and by itself is like those AI videos you see on Twitter: a basic recreation of something from before with no real creation. So today, let’s slap our way into that.
