Former Hollyoaks star Owen Warner has landed the lead role in Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution. The actor, who played Romeo Nightingale on the Channel 4 soap, will be making his stage debut in the iconic play.
Warner will be starring as Leonard Vole, a man accused of murdering a wealthy widow to inherit her money. The play will see Leonard have his day in court as he pleads his innocence in the face of some damning testimonies.
“The audience are thrillingly placed in the thick of the action, as Agatha Christie’s story of justice, passion and betrayal unfolds around them,” reads the description.
