Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson seems to be laying low since vacating Royal Lodge, but she may come back with a vengeance.
The ex-wife of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has been at the center of scandal amid renewed scrutiny in her and Andrew’s ties to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, but reports claim she may set the record straight with a bombshell tell-all.
“Sarah has very little to lose,” a source told journalist Rob Shuter for a Friday, March 6, post on his Naughty But Nice Substack. “Except her daughters.”
The couple’s children, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie — who appear to be the only ones in their immediate family not shunned by King Charles III, Prince William and the rest of the royals — are “terrified” of the consequences, a royal insider told Shuter.
“They’ve pleaded with Sarah not to do it,” the insider said of a potential book exposing the 66-year-old’s side of the story.
According to one source, “Sarah knows everything. She knows exactly how the family would react if another tell-all came out.”
Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35, “feel like hostages” as they wait to see how things play out, a palace insider claimed. “If Sarah writes the book, the daughters will pay the price.”

The former Duchess of York was named multiple times in the Department of Justice’s January 30 drop of files related to the late financier. After she was forced to vacate Royal Lodge, it’s been said she’s been spotted in the United Arab Emirates as she weighs her options for the future.
Meanwhile, Andrew was arrested last month on his 66th birthday after he was accused of sharing confidential information with Epstein related to his role as a trade envoy.
Though Andrew has consistently denied wrongdoing and maintained his innocence regarding his ties to Epstein, the Thames Valley Police launched an inquiry after it was reported that emails suggest he sent the businessman reports from a tour of Southeast Asia he took in 2010.
Fergie, who previously said via a representative that she was “taken in” by Epstein’s “lies,” denies any wrongdoing and consistently maintains her innocence with regard to the scandal.
Following Andrew’s arrest, Charles, 77, said via a statement issued from Buckingham Palace that authorities have the royal family’s “full and wholehearted support and co-operation.”
