Jennifer Lopez says her kids had one very specific request for her the last time she attended a big awards show: play a little celebrity detective.

The 56-year-old entertainer, who recently launched the next chapter of her Las Vegas residency, chatted with Entertainment Tonight and shared a funny moment involving her twins, Max and Emme. According to Lopez, the 18-year-olds are huge fans of Heated Rivalry stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie — so much so that they gave their mom a mission at the Golden Globes.

During the interview, the reporter pointed out that Lopez and Williams actually follow each other on social media.

“Is that right?” Lopez asked before adding with a laugh, “My kids would die!”

She went on to explain that Max and Emme had encouraged her to track the actors down at the awards show.

“They asked me to stalk them at the Golden Globes and I could not find them. And so, I just recorded them when they came out onstage,” Lopez said.

Apparently, the search wasn’t exactly successful.

“I was like, this is – I don’t know where they are!” she added while recalling the moment.

Lopez also confirmed she still hasn’t met Williams or Storrie in person — at least not yet.

When asked whether she might ever work with Williams someday, the actress kept things open-ended, simply responding, “Maybe.”

While Lopez didn’t manage to connect with the actors for her kids at the Golden Globes, she did celebrate a major milestone for Max and Emme not long after. The twins turned 18 in February, and Lopez marked the occasion with a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.

She reflected on the snowy night they were born in New York City and how everything changed when they entered her life.

“I cannot believe you are now adults…18 years old! You are both so kind-hearted, generous, and loving.”

Lopez shares Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, whom she was married to from 2004 until their divorce in 2014.

In her tribute, she also looked back on their journey together as a trio.

“It has always been the three of us!! We have been on this journey together.”

She added a touching promise to her children, writing: “We have always had each other to hold on to and be that steady presence in the middle of any snowstorm. And I promise you, my beautiful coconuts, no matter how big you get, that’s how it will always be.”
