At this year’s Saturn Awards, Cruise was spotted alongside numerous A-listers, including Elle Fanning and Rhea Seehorn, who’ve had major years in film and television.

The Saturn Awards are a show that honors the best in science fiction, fantasy, and horror, with Fanning and Seehorn earning nominations for “Predator: Badlands” and “Pluribus,” respectively.

While Cruise was photographed alongside different celebrities, he was there to present the Visionary Award to his longtime collaborator Christopher McQuarrie, with the two working together on various “Mission Impossible” films.

For the occasion, he wore a blue suit with a white button-up shirt, keeping things casual by foregoing a tie and leaving a few buttons open. He posed alongside Fanning, pointing towards her and smiling, bringing attention to her big year, which includes her first Oscar nomination for her work in the film “Sentimental Value.”

He also took photos with Seehorn, with the two smiling brightly for the cameras. Cruise was also seen alongside Guillermo del Toro, one of the major figures in the science fiction and horror realm in Hollywood.

Cruise’s future in the ‘Mission Impossible’ films

Cruise took home an award, winning Best Actor for his work in “Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning,” which is expected to be his last, or at least concludes a certain era of the character of Ethan Hunt.

“Thank you McQ for trying to kill me so many times for all these years. I appreciate it,” he said onstage. “I feel so privileged to be able to do what I do. It’s pretty obvious that I love movies, I love them. And I’ve loved making them even more. And I love the audience for allowing me to still do it.”

He teased more work to come, getting fans excited.  “Many more to come,” he said.

Last year, as he promoted the release of “Mission Impossible,” Cruise called the film the culmination of 30 years of work. “Just let us show the movie tonight,” he said in an interview with PEOPLE. “This is like 30 years culmination of this, and I think that this is – I’d rather just people see it and enjoy.”

“We’ve had an amazing time doing it and it’s been a lot of fun and [I] just want you all to enjoy it, enjoy this and know everything – the culmination has come to this moment right now and it’s been a lot of fun.”
