Meghan Markle has responded to claims she is expanding her As Ever brand into Australia rather than the UK. This is in response to news reports which suggested she was looking to move her business venture to Australia before she starts selling any of her products in the UK.

An As Ever spokesperson told Us Weekly, “This is speculation”. They added: “No decisions have been made about when or where international expansion might take place. Entering new markets is a considered process, but it’s something the brand is excited to explore as it continues to grow in this next phase. Watch this space.”

It comes as both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will visit Australia in April, with the couple’s office telling the Daily Express. “Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex will visit Australia in mid-April to take part in a number of private, business, and philanthropic engagements. Further details will be shared in due course.”

Meghan Markle launched As Ever in April 2025 which coincided with the first season of her lifestyle series, ‘With Love, Meghan’.

However, Netflix and the Duchess of Sussex are now parting ways after being an initial investor. A Netflix spokesperson said: “Meghan’s passion for elevating everyday moments in beautiful yet simple ways inspired the creation of the As Ever brand, and we are glad to have played a role in bringing that vision to life.”

“As it was always intended, Meghan will continue growing the brand and take it into its next chapter independently, and we look forward to celebrating how she continues to bring joy to households around the world.”
