EXCLUSIVE: Christopher Landon (Drop) is set to write and direct Final Boarding, a new supernatural horror film for Sony Pictures’ Screen Gems, based on the short story by Clarence Hammond.

Last fall, he hatched a Drop reunion at Netflix as he attached to direct Blink of an Eye, a thriller penned by his recent collaborators Chris Roach and Jillian Jacobs from his own story. Landon will produce that pic alongside Brad Fuller, Cameron Fuller and Michael Bay of Platinum Dunes, who worked on Drop, as well.
Also recently co-writing and producing Screen Gems’ horror comedy Heart Eyes, Landon is otherwise perhps best known for directing Freaky and the Happy Death Day films. Instrumental in making the Paranormal Activity franchise at Paramount alongside Screen Gems President Ashley Brucks, during her previous tenure there, he is repped by WME, Mosaic, and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman.
