Summerfest amphitheater headliners for 2026

Apparently, Summerfest’s American Family Insurance Amphitheater lineup wasn’t complete for 2026 after all.

After unveiling the headliner lineup last month with seemingly all amphitheater slots complete, officials with the Milwaukee music festival made a surprise announcement March 12: The Pussycat Dolls are back, with the reunited girl group booked for a special Summerfest bonus show in the festival’s 23,000-person capacity venue June 21.

With mid-aughts Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hits “Don’t Cha,” “Stickwitu,” “Buttons” and “When I Grow Up,” Pussycat Dolls are embarking on a 53-date tour this June through October to celebrate the 20th anniversary of debut album “PCD.”

This will be the group’s first Milwaukee performance in 19 years, and their first headlining show in the city. Their first and only Milwaukee performance was as the opener for Christina Aguilera at the Bradley Center in 2007.

The group lineup won’t be the same, however. Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt and Ashley Roberts are part of the reunion. Jessica Sutta, Carmit Bachar and Melody Thornton are not in the mix. All of the members except for Thornton were supposed to be part of a reunion tour in 2020 that never materialized, leading to a legal dispute between Scherzinger and group founder Robin Antin, with the two parties reaching a confidential settlement last November, according to People.

The Milwaukee show includes opening acts Lil’ Kim and Mya. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. March 20 at the box office (200 N. Harbor Drive) and summerfest.com. Prices have yet to be announced, but will include a Summerfest general admission ticket.

Summerfest will run June 18 to 20, June 25 to 27 and July 2 to 4, with two other bonus amphitheater concerts this year with Garth Brooks on June 16 and 17.
