Chilean Architect Wins Pritzker Prize
Smiljan Radic of Santiago, Chile, has won this year’s Pritzker Prize, architecture’s most prestigious honor. Radic, who has worked mostly in Chile, rose into the international spotlight for designing the 2014 Serpentine Pavilion, which the London gallery commissions annually. “His buildings appear temporary, unstable or deliberately unfinished—almost on the point of disappearance,” the jury’s citation said. Rents Continue to Fall in Toronto Amid Supply Glut
Rentals.ca and Urbanation report that rental prices in Toronto fell 5.3% year over year in February to C$2,482 (US$1,823)—and were down 11.7% from the same time period in 2024.
