NBC’s “The Hunting Party” has hunted down quite an eclectic mix of guest stars for Season 2, including a “Glee” kid, a ventriloquist, one of the guys who broke Carrie Bradshaw’s heart and a “Coyote Ugly” alum.

Joining star Melissa Roxburgh for Season 2 of “The Hunting Party” are folks including Piper Perabo (“Butterfly,” “Coyote Ugly”), Kevin McHale (“Glee,” “American Horror Stories”), John Corbett (“Sex and the City,” “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”) and ventriloquist comedian Jeff Dunham. Here are their roles:

On Episode 209 (April 9), Perabo will play Colette Akins, “a woman who grew up working for her father’s family mortuary business. As a result of her exposure to chemicals, Colette developed auditory psychosis that led her to become a serial killer. Now escaped from The Pit, she’s craving the comfort of a particular voice… and will do whatever it takes to find it.”

McHale will be seen on Episode 211 (April 23) playing Dylan Myles, “a struggling ventriloquist who never learned how to deal with hecklers – other than killing them. Now back out of The Pit, and armed with his beloved Figures, Dylan is out for revenge and to leave a permanent mark on the comedy world.” And on that same episode, Dunham will play his victim, Jeff Dudley, “a star in the world of ventriloquism, and the unfortunate target of failed ventriloquist and escaped Pit inmate, Dylan Myles.”

Then, on the Season 2 finale (Episode 213, May 7), Corbett will appear as Xander Wax, “a serial poisoner with unpredictable patterns and nontraditional methods. He’s also caught the particular interest of Colonel Lazarus and will push our team to discover the inner workings of her mysterious plans.”

“The Hunting Party” stars Roxburgh as Rebecca “Bex” Henderson, a former FBI profiler who is now part of a team of investigators charged with finding dangerous serial killers who escaped from “The Pit” — a top secret government prison.

Patrick Sabongui, Josh McKenzie and Sara Garcia also star in the series, which comes from creator JJ Bailey. Bailey and Jake Coburn are co-showrunners and EPs, while Thor Freudenthal is exec producer/director and Michael Jones Morales is writer/exec producer. Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, is the studio.

Perabo is repped by Gersh and MGMT Management; McHale is repped by Jamie Malone MC Talent Management and Shannon Schacter Rebel Creative Group; Corbett is repped by Gersh; and Dunham is represented by Levity Talent and CAA.
