Was that so hard? I actually watched Captain Marvel for the first time recently since I finally completed my MCU collection (the Infinity Saga only, obviously) and I thought it was just fine; it wasn't as compelling as other movies in the series, but it was serviceable and Brie did well enough in the role. I don't think she's that terrible of an actress – I actually thought she did a good job in Kong: Skull Island; the thing that turned me off from her MCU appearances was that she was just so insufferable on the press tours (and that Captain Marvel in the comics is a significantly worse character, both morally and in terms of writing, but that has nothing to do with Brie or the MCU version of the character).
I would've been a lot more enthusiastic about her in the MCU if she didn't keep shooting her own PR in the foot like that every time. This right here is how she always should've been when on press tour.

Fake or not, she should just shut up and just do her job. She wasn't a good Captain Marvel. Plain and simple. Cosplayers put her to shame so easily.
Marvel sucked and while Disney has good lawyers, Nintendo probably has better ones.
