Katie Price’s new husband, Lee Andrews, has been accused of begging a woman for cash just days before he proposed to the former glamour model.
Price and Andrews announced their engagement on Instagram on January 23, 2026, after a whirlwind romance.
The pair had met online, and Price quickly flew out to Dubai to meet the businessman, where he popped the question.
The whirlwind engagement and marriage surprised Price’s friends, family and fans, some of whom feared the relationship was moving too fast.
Now, The Sun claims to have heard voice notes sent in January, during which Andrews asks an unnamed American woman for thousands of pounds.
‘If you can help me or send Western Union 3000, that would help me so much. I could just do with a big hug, really,’ Andrews reportedly said.

‘You don’t know how desperate it’s been, the last couple of months of me trying to survive.’
The woman claims that when she refused to send him any money, he swore at her and branded her a time-waster.
Supposedly, Lee said at the time he was struggling financially while he waited for payments to clear and was living off 20p packets of rice.
At the time of writing, Lee has shared a story on Instagram, warning his followers about ‘fake accounts sending fake voice notes’. It’s unknown if this is in relation to the accusations made in The Sun.
Since Price and Andrews married, the self-proclaimed multi-millionaire has faced a string of accusations about his behaviour and business dealings.
Most notably, his ex, Alana Percival, has said that Andrews should not be trusted.
‘Another woman sending me voices on how he tried to scam her… 4 people in 2 weeks reached out to me sending me all sorts of voice recordings,’ Percival wrote on Instagram.
‘Self claimed multimillionaire or billionaire my f*ing ae. Begging women around the world for £3000 this was only in January!
‘They have been speaking since May 2025…when she said no, he got angry and said some [vile] things (no shock there). More people that he is trying to scam like he done to poor Crystal!!’
She finished by claiming: ‘[He] actually is another tinder swindler soooo embarrassing. But one that is stuck in [Dubai] on a travel ban.’

Percival also alleges that Andrews and Price sent her ‘intimidating videos’ on WhatsApp.
‘He is a toxic, horrible, disgusting, vile creature who lied to me from the moment we met,’ she told The Daily Mail.
‘I literally hate his guts. He’s nothing but a sad, lonely man who lies about everything. I never saw any proof about his money; I never saw any cars or houses’’.
Andrew denies all the allegations made against him.
