Stars complain about ICE, Iran and Gaza on the red carpet

The cast of the Oscar-nominated docudrama The Voice of Hind Rajab called for a permanent ceasefire in several wars as they took to the red carpet.

‘We’re demanding a permanent ceasefire,’ actor Saja Kilani told Deadline. ‘There are bombings happening to this day. Destruction, displacement all over the world; in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran and Venezuela.’

Bridgerton star Charithra Chandran wore a red Artists4Ceasefire pin and told The Hollywood Reporter she is calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.

‘Sometimes the news cycle is so fast and people move on, but the people in Gaza and the West Bank are still suffering,’ she said.

Meanwhile, author Glennon Doyle carried a purse that was bedazzled with the words ‘F**l ICE.’
