Coleen Rooney has revealed the ‘extreme’, made-to-order breakfast she whips up for her four sons before school. The I’m A Celeb star – who shares Kai, 16, Klay, 12, Kit, 10, and Cass, eight, with footballer Wayne Rooney – said the morning menu in their Cheshire home can range from pancakes and toasties to Kit’s favourite dish, steak and eggs.
Coleen explained: “They all have different breakfasts. I have friends that say, ‘Why don’t you just put cereal out on the sides and just let them have to help themselves’. However, I like to know that they’ve gone out with a full stomach, with something that they actually wanted.”

Speaking to Dominique McMullan for IMAGE magazine’s podcast, Coleen went on to share: “Because if they don’t like the lunch in school, at least they’ve had something in the in the morning that they like.”
Dominique then asked, “So you’re cooking to order?” to which Coleen responded: “Yeah. We have steak, we have bacon, we have pancakes. We have… I have got one who will, like, mostly have cereal. He’s the fussy one, he’s quite plain. He eats quite plain. We have toasties. Yeah, there’s a lot of different things.”
Coleen went on to share that Kit, 10, loves steak and eggs. She said: “Lots of people will say, ‘Oh that’s quite extreme’. But it’s healthy. He eats well. He is a good eater my 10 year old. He eats everything. He loves his food.
“So like me 12 year old, he’s quite plain. You know he likes pasta and stuff. So I do love the fact that I’ve got one who eats his meals. When we go to certain places I just know it’s a safe bet because it has pasta. But then if we have ours, then the 10 year old’s like, “Oh, can I have some of that?” So he ends up swapping. It’s nice.”
Coleen and Wayne made a strong statement last week after he was seen partying with a mystery woman at a boozy pre-BRIT Awards party. Wayne, 39, attended the party alongside the likes of singer Calum Scott and actress Shona McGarty. But onlookers caught the former player looking worse for wear in the early hours, struggling to button his trousers after visiting the toilet not long after 1am.
He continued drinking until around 3:25am, before he and the woman he was partying with went their separate ways for the night. In the past, Wayne has previously opened up about his drunken mistakes. There is nothing to suggest that anything inappropriate happened between Rooney and the woman.

But while Coleen was said to be “humiliated” after his latest antics, the pair have made a strong statement about their marriage. The Liverpudlian joined his wife at a celebratory launch event for her Primark collection.
Speaking to The Sun, a source said: “Wayne was by Coleen’s side last night. He was on his best behaviour and was being very affectionate with her. He might have skipped her London launch, but he was keen to support her closer to home in Liverpool and show just how proud he is of her.
“All eyes were on them, and they even had the cameras there for Coleen’s doc. Everything is being documented, so fans will get to see what has really been going on behind closed doors.” Speaking to new magazine, a source said of Coleen’s response to Wayne’s actions: “Coleen is sick to the back teeth – she’s absolutely livid. She’s really cross with him this time.
“She believes it was innocent, but in the eyes of the world, it looks murky, and she feels humiliated and hurt about it all, especially at such a key moment in her career.” They continued: “She’s done so well since I’m A Celeb – she’s working with high-profile brands – and now this has left a nasty taste in her mouth,” the source added. “She’s worried she could lose everything she’s worked so hard to achieve.”
The pre-Brits booze-up is all the more of a blow given that Wayne, who once admitted he drank “for two days straight”, – appeared to have turned a corner. He recently spoke of the support Coleen has always given him, even crediting her with saving his life.
In a brutally honest interview with his old Man Utd teammate Rio Ferdinand last year, he said: “I honestly believe if she wasn’t there I’d be dead.”
“[Coleen’s] seen it very early on, and she’s controlled that. Well, not controlled, but helped me control that massively,” he said. “I’ve made mistakes in the past, which are well documented and whatever, but I’m a little bit different at times and she keeps me on that path. She’s done it for 20-odd years.”
