Anne Hathaway wears floral for surprise ‘Devil Wears Prada’ moment with Anna Wintour at Oscars 2026

    Anne Hathaway and Anna Wintour, the inspiration for “The Devil Wears Prada” icon Miranda Priestly (played by Meryl Streep), staged a surprise onstage moment at the Oscars on Sunday.

    Hathaway and Wintour presented the awards for Costume Design and Makeup and Hair, with Wintour hilariously calling Hathaway “Emily” — Emily Blunt’s character in the iconic 2006 film — instead of Andy, Hathaway’s actual character.

    The former Vogue editor channeled Priestly’s icy demeanor, ignoring Hathaway’s question about how she looked in her floral dress while launching into the nominees. She also wore chic shades on stage.
