At the Actor Awards on March 1, Law Roach casually revealed that Zendaya and Tom Holland secretly got married. And now, after two weeks of intense speculation, I think we can probably assume that he was telling the truth.

On March 10, Zendaya stepped out in Paris flaunting what appeared to be a golden wedding band on her ring finger.

Then, while attending Essence’s Black Women in Hollywood Awards two days later, she had a very telling reaction to a joke about the wedding rumors.
And last night, she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where the host made sure to ask the question on everybody’s minds…“I’m sure you know, the internet has gone berserk with stories [that] you might be married to Tom,” he asked.

“Really?!” Zendaya replied incredulously, whipping her head around in mock confusion. “I haven’t seen any of that!”

Jimmy then mentioned that some AI-generated wedding photos have been circulating online over the past few weeks. If you’ve not seen them, the selection of AI pics shows the couple exchanging vows and celebrating against a background that looks like Lake Como.

For context, the pictures were posted by an Instagram creator called Juan Regueira Rodriguez, who wrote in his caption that “they are not real photographs” and that “the images have been created with AI as an artistic recreation.” Despite this, many people seem to have been fooled by the pics, as the IG post currently has over 12 million likes and 17 thousand comments.

Now, discussing the viral AI pics with Jimmy, Zendaya acknowledged how freakily realistic they were.
“Many people have been fooled by them. I was just out and about in real life, and people were like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous.’ And I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real!’” she said, adding that “many people” in her life were genuinely fooled, too.

Though she teased that some people she knows were “mad” that they weren’t invited to the nuptials, Zendaya didn’t explicitly confirm the wedding rumors at any point in the interview. But, if one thing’s for certain, that golden band on her ring finger was shining BRIGHT!
