Zendaya is having some fun with the rumors that she and Tom Holland are married.
The two-time Emmy winner, who stars in the upcoming film “The Drama,” dealt with the issue with a dose of humor while appearing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on March 16.
“I’m sure you know the internet has gone berserk with stories about that you might actually be married to Tom,” Kimmel said.
“Really? I haven’t seen any of that,” she jokingly responded, as the audience cheered.
Kimmel then said people have made “very realistic” AI wedding photos of her and Holland that Zendaya agreed have “fooled” many people.
“I was out and about in real life and people are like, ‘Oh my god, your wedding photos are really gorgeous.’ And I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real,’” she said, adding that even people in her own life were duped by the pictures.
Kimmel then revealed that his guest brought a video to the show, which Zendaya called, “a little something to clear the confusion.”
The clip, though, was actually a scene featuring Zendaya as a bride in “The Drama,” with Holland’s face superimposed on co-star Robert Pattinson’s body while they took photos on their big day.
“(It) somewhat closely resembles a scene in the film,” Kimmel said.
“Yeah, but, yeah, was a beautiful day,” Zendaya said tongue-in-cheek.
“It would seem as if somebody just crudely pasted Tom’s head over Robert’s head,” Kimmel commented.
“No, that was real footage,” responded Zendaya.
“That was real. I was there,” she added.
Zendaya and Holland sparked rumors that they were engaged in January 2025. The couple has not commented on their marital status.
Her stylist Law Roach initially fueled the speculation on the red carpet at the Actor Awards earlier this month.
“The wedding has already happened,” he told “Access Hollywood.” “You missed it.”
“Is that true?” the reporter asked.
“It’s very true,” Roach replied.
