When Apple released the first-look photo of Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone from Killers Of The Flower Moon, we had no idea we’d be staring at that image of DiCaprio looking up for the next year and a half. But for whatever reason, the marketing department at Apple thought that was the best way to sell Scorsese’s frontier epic about a plot to kill hundreds of Native Americans for oil-rich land. Is Apple planning another single-photo PR strategy? Well, as of now, it seems like it.
Apple has added a new installation to the single-promo-photo hall of fame with the first image from Scorsese’s upcoming feature, What Happens At Night, starring DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence. Hanging alongside the poster for The Whale in the hall of fame, the first-look photo from What Happens At Night features both stars walking in the snow in front of a car. Based on the novel by Peter Cameron, “the dream-like story follows a married American couple who travel to a small, snowy European town to adopt a baby.” Seeing as the picture sums that story up pretty well, we should probably begin committing every aspect of the photo to memory as we’ll be seeing a lot of it.

What Happens At Night is shooting in the Czech Republic and co-stars Patricia Clarkson, Mads Mikkelsen, Jared Harris, and Welker White.
