Moore kept the caption simple but affectionate, writing, “All you need is LOVE. Happy birthday, BW!” alongside a red heart emoji.
One of the standout photos in the carousel shows little Louetta, dressed in a gingham dress with her hair in braids, leaning in to kiss her grandfather on the cheek. She is the daughter of Moore and Willis’ eldest child, Rumer Willis, who welcomed her first baby with her now-ex-boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas in 2023.
Moore and Willis married in 1987 and separated in 2000, but they have maintained a close relationship while raising their three daughters together. In addition to Rumer, the former couple also shares daughters Scout, 34, and Tallulah, 32.
Rumer previously spoke about the close connection between her daughter and Moore during a 2025 interview with People. She revealed that Louetta calls the actress “Yaya,” a nickname Moore chose because she thought it might be easier for her granddaughter to say.
Rumer joked that Moore sometimes bends the rules when it comes to Louetta. “I was like, ‘We don’t watch TV in this house… not until she’s 5,’” she said, laughing. “And then I went over, and Moana was on.” Still, she emphasized the sweet bond they share. “You should see her face light up when they’re on FaceTime when we’re away. Louetta just gets so excited,” she said.
Rumer also praised her mom’s natural warmth toward children. “She’s incredible with babies. She always has been. It’s such a delight to see them together.” Moore’s birthday tribute offered a glimpse into the loving, blended family dynamic she and Willis continue to nurture with their daughters and granddaughter.
