Renowned for his roles in Missing in Action, The Way of the Dragon, The Delta Force, and Walker, Texas Ranger, Norris passed away just a day after being admitted to the hospital due to a medical crisis. However, the specific cause of death has yet to be revealed by his family.
Shortly after the announcement, Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone was among the first celebrities to pay tribute to Norris. The two shared the screen in The Expendables 2 (2012). Stallone took to Instagram to express how much he valued their time together on set.
