June comic solicitations are here! Headlining the month, one of Star Wars‘ most tragic figures, Jyn Erso, returns. We get a closer look at Jyn’s time in prison before the events of Rogue One changed everything. Elsewhere, Shadow of Maul‘s penultimate issue sees Brander Lawson and Maul on a collision course, the Empire invades Batuu, and a fan-favorite High Republic character returns?
Lastly, Dark Horse’s finale of The Bad Batch: Rogue Agents got pushed back to a new release date of June 3. As per usual, we will see if it sticks.
Before we go any further, here are a couple of other recent things in the galaxy of Star Wars comics you may have missed:
GamesRadar has an early look at April 22’s Galaxy’s Edge: Echoes of the Empire #1, teasing a battle between Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett that writer Ethan Sacks says will span 11 pages.It’s baaaack! The High Republic “Phase More” gets underway next week with Pathfinders #1. Our friends at Star Wars Splash Page curated the preview. Lucasfilm Publishing creative director Michael Siglain also shared the crawl.Webtoon has added Darth Maul: Black, White & Red to its ongoing Star Wars catalog. Meanwhile, the Star Wars (2015) Webtoon adaptation is now in its Vader Down era, and is indeed incorporating the crossover issues from Darth Vader (2015). And after finally catching up, I can say the Lost Stars manga works really well in this format. In case you were curious.
Now, looking ahead to June 2026, check with your local comic book shop about what pre-order options they have available (or you can be boring and choose digital).
