Kim Kardashian made a surprise appearance at Walmart to promote her new Update energy drinks.

The reality TV star, 45, shared photos of herself posing for a photoshoot to promote her latest business venture while people were shopping at one of the supermarket chain locations.

In the snapshots she shared on Sunday, she stood beside a colorful display of caffeine-free energy drinks and wrote simply in her caption: ‘now available at Walmart.’

She wore an all-black outfit with the nylon pants pulled low to show off her slim waistline as she posed in the beverage section of the store.

She had also grabbed one of the energy drink cans and was sipping from it while posing next to the nearby shopping lanes that were blocked off.

Earlier this year, the Kardashians star — who was subject of mockery when trolls accused her of a Photoshop fail in her ads — previously announced she joined the company as a co-founder for their rebrand.

For her photoshoot, she was in full glam with her hair done and modeling casual loungewear, presumably from her clothing brand Skims.

She wore a cropped, zip-up jacket paired with a bodysuit and oversize, dramatically long pants.

Her long, raven black tresses were styled in messy beach waves, and she rocked a sun-kissed, contoured look for her makeup.

Her trip to Walmart comes shortly after she was spotted out with Lewis Hamilton in Tokyo and stroling arm-in-arm on what appeared to be a romantic date.

She shared her Walmart photoshoot pictures while she continued to fuel romance rumors with the Formula One race driver, 41, across the Pacific Ocean.

She appeared to be staying on top of her many businesses even while enjoying time off in Japan.

Late last month, Kardashian announced that she would be taking on yet another business venture as she opened up about joining Update to help the company rebrand and relaunch.

She shared a series of photos and videos posing with the pastel color cans in February and was quickly met with accusations of digitally altering her images too much.

Some people said that the photos didn’t ‘even look remotely like her,’ while others called Kardashian out for allegedly altering the shape of her nose and ‘erasing her nasolabial folds.’

While promoting the ‘caffeine-free’ and ‘sugar-free’ product to help improve focus, she shared a montage reel of herself sipping the canned drinks while getting her hair and makeup done, studying scripts and modeling for the shoot.

She explained that after joining the team, her ‘first order of business’ was changing the design of the packaging to look more minimalistic and ‘masculine’ as she ‘loves masculine things.’

Rather than discussing her latest business venture on Kardashian’s growing resume, many fans took to social media to talk about her ‘altered’ appearance in the ads.

Several of her fans took to Reddit to say that they couldn’t believe the photo was ‘real’ while others brought up ongoing plastic surgery rumors even after she previously denied having any work done.

Some users on X tweeted about how Kardashian looked more like her youngest daughter Chicago than herself while others even speculated she altered the photo of herself with artificial intelligence (AI).

According to Forbes, the relaunch of Update and Kardashian joining the team as cofounder comes three years after the product first went on the market.

The billionaire businesswoman was apparently a fan of the startup’s product and wanted to join the team to help their relaunch.

Update energy drinks use a caffeine alternative to avoid mood crashes, according to the product description.

Per the description, Update ‘uses paraxanthine, the compound the human body naturally forms from caffeine, rather than caffeine itself, an approach the company says “eliminates the crash, jitters and overstimulation” of traditional energy drinks.’

The reality star reportedly began using the product for an energy boost in 2023 and started offering unsolicited feedback the following year, which led to a partnership, according to a press release obtained by Forbes.
