Queen Camilla might’ve forgotten she’s royal during the Commonwealth Day Service.
As the former Duchess of Cornwall and King Charles III greeted Prince William, Kate Middleton and Princess Anne at Westminster Abbey for the event, she appeared to let protocol slip.
In a video shared on X, His Majesty touches Camilla’s arm to get her attention for the ceremony to start as she’s speaking with her husband’s sister.
The 78-year-old then turns around and stands in her usual spot next to Charles.
Social media users got a kick out of Camilla’s blunder. “I just love her!” one person commented below the clip.
“Camilla and Anne couldn’t stop chatting, so Charles had to remind his wife that the event was about to start,” a second wrote.
“Beautiful interactions and a whole lot of love,” a third added.

Camilla has been candid about overcoming backlash after she and Charles were accused of having an affair when he was still married to Princess Diana.
“It was horrid. It was a deeply unpleasant time, and I wouldn’t want to put my worst enemy through it. I couldn’t have survived it without my family,” she said in a 2017 interview via The Mirror.
