EXCLUSIVE: Father-son directing duo Eric Weber and Nick Weber have wrapped on Not Dead Yet, an indie comedy starring Richard Kind (A Serious Man), Polly Draper (thirtysomething), Academy Award nominee Paul Raci (Sound of Metal), Tovah Feldshuh (Nobody Wants This), Bill Smitrovich (Life Goes On), and Ed German.

The flagship title in a new “Silver Market” slate created specifically for audiences seeking smart, character-driven stories centered on seniors, the film centers on Elliot Kelman (Kind), a 68-year-old creative director whose life is upended when he’s abruptly fired from his advertising agency. In an industry that no longer considers him hip or contemporary, Elliot refuses to fade quietly into irrelevance. Retreating to the Hamptons with his wife Gina (Draper), he joins a “Breakfast Club” of fellow seniors: Cy (Raci), a lifelong surfer and artist; soulful jazz DJ Ned Wednesday (German); Mike (Smitrovich), a blunt and hardworking local; and Paulette (Feldshuh), a spirited veteran actress. Together, they launch a business created by seniors for seniors, along with an unlikely viral advertising campaign that proves experience, ingenuity, and bold ideas never go out of style.

Pic is scripted by Eric Weber, whose past films include Second Best, starring Joe Pantoliano, Jennifer Tilly, and Draper; the corporate satire Suits, featuring Steve Carell; and Emily & Tim, starring Alexis Bledel and Kal Penn. Michael Goodin produced for Monolith Pictures.

Kind is represented by Innovative Artists Entertainment and Forster Entertainment; Draper by Untitled Entertainment; Raci by Bicoastal Talent and Literary Agency; Feldshuh by Stewart Talent Agency and Luber Roklin Entertainment; and Smitrovich by Realm Talent and Anthem Entertainment.
