The couple, who were two of around 2,000 people in attendance, marked the symbolic start of the ministry of the first female Archbishop in the role’s 1,400-year history. After seeing Catherine’s stunning look, fans took to X to share their opinions in the much-loved royal. Many fans showed their excitement for Catherine’s future role as Queen Consort. One fan commented: “THAT is what you call a QUEEN!”

As she arrived at the cathedral this morning, Dame Sarah Mullally told the Press Association she was feeling “absolutely great” ahead of her installation.
She said: “Really looking forward to the celebration of the Anglican Communion, the Church of England and the gospel.”
As she was appointed to the role in October, Dame Sarah was congratulated by King Charles on assuming her position.
