A member of the royal family has celebrated her bachelorette party in Kent.

Lady Marina Windsor, granddaughter of the Duke of Kent, visited the Isle of Sheppey for the special event.

The 33-year-old, who has more than 10K followers on Instagram, shared pictures and videos of her trip away.

Last weekend, the bride-to-be and a group of friends had drinks and food together at a venue, which looked to be The Ferry House in Harty.

Her younger sister, Lady Amelia Windsor, 30, also attended the sunny festivities, which involved a countryside walk by the Swale estuary.

In the social media post, she said: “Heart bursting with love and gratitude for my magical hens and this spectacular weekend.”

This isn’t the first time a royal has visited Sheppey.

Back in February 2022, King Charles went on a whistle-stop tour of the county with Queen Camilla, visiting several locations.

Their first port of call was to the Sheerness Healthy Living Centre on the seafront to meet the staff and volunteers of Sheppey Matters.

Lady Marina is the daughter of George Windsor, Earl of St Andrews and Canadian academic and historian Sylvana Tomaselli.

However, she isn’t in the line of succession and was removed after converting to Catholicism in 2008.

Her grandmother, the Duchess of Kent, who preferred to be known as Katharine Kent in later years, passed away peacefully last September.

Lady Marina is engaged to Nico Macauley, a 32-year-old who works for the American IT security firm Zscaler.

The pair announced their engagement on June 8 last year, but it is not yet known if their nuptials will take place on the Island.

The Ferry House, a 16th-century restaurant, revealed that by April 2026, it would become an exclusive wedding and events venue.

It aims to reduce its restaurant and B&B services, although the owners say they will continue to host select “pop-up” dining experiences, taster evenings and special occasions.

Since 2000, the site has been run by the Burden family, who expect to have a second wedding barn – increasing capacity – complete in time for the business pivot.
