For a man behind a franchise that’s known for platforming outspoken women, Andy Cohen sure seems offended by Sarah Michelle Gellar‘s criticism of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
After the Ready or Not 2: Here I Come actress called the current Season 15 of the Bravo reality series “boring,” Cohen has gone viral for his response as many fans on social media side with Gellar.
“Page Six Radio interviewed Sarah Michelle Gellar,” he said on Radio Andy, noting that Page Six records their radio show in the same studio, where Gellar recently told him she loves RHOBH.
“And then they post it. And it’s like, ‘Sarah Michelle Gellar hates the Housewives of Beverly Hills’ with all of this Radio Andy signage everywhere,” added Cohen. “And I was like, ‘You know what? Don’t bring someone into my studio to trash my show.’ How about, the door is locked when I leave? How’s that? Or maybe think twice about posting that all over social media, where it says ‘Andy’ everywhere behind SMG. She wrong, by the way.”
Gellar confirmed to Page Six Radio that she’s “obsessed” with RHOBH, but when asked about Season 15, she admitted, “I think it’s boring.”

“I mean, I like the cast. I love Rachel [Zoe], I think Rachel’s a great addition. I love Boz,” she said. “I mean, I live for Kathy [Hilton] and Jen [Tilly], like, I want a spinoff. I want a Jen Tilly, Kathy Hilton spinoff. But it’s slow. It’s just picking up now.”
Gellar added of new cast member Amanda Frances, “I don’t think she’s polarizing, I just don’t think anyone enjoys her. I wanna clarify, I’m sure she’s a very lovely person. If you choose to go on this show, then you have to be ready to open yourself up and be honest. And I don’t know, I feel like she just missed that memo. … Like, have you ever watched an episode?”
