Christina Aguilera’s daughter Summer Rain, 10, made a rare appearance in a March 25 video from a family vacation in Costa Rica.
Aguilera’s fiancé and Summer’s dad, Matt Rutler, also joined them on the trip.
On Instagram, Aguilera posted footage of a beautiful waterfall.
Christina Aguilera had her mini-me by her side as she embraced Costa Rica’s “pura vida” lifestyle on a recent family vacation. The “Genie in a Bottle” singer’s daughter Summer Rain, 10, could be seen chasing waterfalls with her mom and dad Matt Rutler, as the trio explored one of the country’s most bucket list-worthy destinations.
In an idyllic behind-the-scenes video posted on March 25, Aguilera shared highlights from her family’s adventures at La Paz Waterfall Gardens and Wildlife Refuge. In the clip, the pop star wore a laid-back athleisure look worthy of the hike. She sported black leggings, an olive green baseball cap, and cropped black jacket, as she twirled in front of the waterfall and met animals at the sanctuary.
Her youngest child Summer could be seen gazing in wonder as bright blue butterflies landed on her. The trio also met various jungle cats, monkeys, and birds during their visit to the wildlife refuge. “Thank you for the wonderful tour and the breath of fresh air. Pura vida,” Aguilera captioned the clip.

The Burlesque actress recently shared rare comments about her daughter, revealing in a December 9 interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show that her youngest isn’t a fan of her signature glam.
“Summer’s favorite side is ‘no makeup mama,'” Aguilera told the Dreamgirls actress.

“As soon as I’m done shooting, she’s like, ‘OK, can you take that off now? It’s time to be cozy.'” She added, “She loves my freckles and I cover them a lot. She’s like, ‘Am I going to have freckles one day?'”

Aguilera also told Hudson that Summer is already following in her footsteps with her own creative pursuits. Apparently, the 10-year-old has “taken an interest in acting.” She added, “She’s such an artist. She paints, she draws, she makes beautiful masks and pieces.”
